Chiropractic

Chiropractic restores, maintains, and enhances your health naturally - without the use of drugs or surgery. It is a hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the relationship between the spine and nervous system. Your nervous system controls and coordinates all functions of your body and is critical to total body health.

Proper alignment and movement of the spine is critical for optimal functioning of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. Chiropractic helps improve the alignment and movement of the spine and joints of the body through adjustments. The adjustment is a quick, precise force directed to specific joints of the spine and/or limbs that have abnormal or restricted movement (i.e. subluxation). The chiropractic adjustment helps restore normal joint range of motion, relieves pain, and improves nervous and musculoskeletal function, and ultimately improves overall health.

There are three phases of chiropractic care:

  • Relief: initial treatment to help reduce or eliminate pain and improve mobility
  • Correction: continued treatment to restore the body to normal or maximum function
  • Wellness: follow-up care to maintain results and promote continued optimum mobility and health

Chiropractic helps with the following conditions:
